Odd things noticed in the Hoop Pine Forest:
- Trees flowering at weird times
- Water flowing upwards.
- Rocks moving places overnight.
- Insects flying backwards.
- Birds swapping calls.
(Scarlett honeyeater was heard singing like a crow.) - It rains over the forest when it’s sunny in other places.
- Moss is growing on the north side of things instead of the south…
- Fungi has been popping up upside down
Edge Forests:
The Hoop Pine forest belongs to a network of Edge Forests – forests that exist on the edges of towns and cities. All Edge Forests are connected and in constant communication with each other. They share stories and wisdom through; the air (on wind and clouds), the water ( in rain, streams and rivers ) and underground (through the mycelium network of fungi). They also pass messages between each other inside seeds and pollen grains and through the songs and calls of the animals who travel between them.
